Mainly because they don’t know!
Surgeons specialize in surgery.
Not natural healing, not herbs, nutrition, physical therapy, acupuncture, supplements…
If you ask them how to prepare for surgery in order to heal better and faster, they will likely have little to say.
If you ask them if there are any alternatives to surgery, they will likely say no.
If you ask them how you can manage the symptoms post-surgery, such as tingling, numbness, nausea, pain, etc., you will probably be given a referral, drugs, or nothing.
Surgeons know surgery. I respect their profession and the importance of surgery, don’t get me wrong. But if you are looking for that additional support, look elsewhere.
